I am an experienced creator and architect of Culinary and Hospitality programs through the use of proven competencies. I take pride in my accomplished career demonstrating consistent success as an owner, manager, chef and professor and have an outstanding track record in assuring student success. I was honored for my career successes as an educator in 2014 when I was named the ACF Northeast Region Chef of the Year. My courses include Advanced Catering Management, Catering, Facilities Operations Management, Menu Planning, International Cuisine, Garde Manger and Purchasing. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Hotel, Resort and Tourism Management from Southern New Hampshire University and my Master’s degree in Educational Administration from State University of New York at Albany. I have also been awarded 7 gold medals, 5 silver and 5 bronze medals in ACF National and International Culinary competitions. I’ve been a professor at SUNY Cobleskill for nearly 30 years and I consider it an honor to give young people the skills they will need to become successful both in and out of the classroom.
